A study in 60 patients suffering of an incomplete cochleo vestibular syndrome with dizzy predominance, was performed. The patients were divided in 4 groups: 1-ozone, 2-ozone plus acupuncture, 3-acupunture and 4-medicaments. A basilar vertebra trunk doppler was made to each patients at the beginning, at the end of the treatment and after 6 and 12 months. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in the doppler (decrease of the peripheral resistance and spectral broadening-sb-) of those patients treated with ozone and ozone plus acupuncture in comparison with group 3 and 4. No significant difference, between group 1 and 2, was obtained. It is concluded that ozone therapy is an appropriate indication for this disease.
