Saul,

Do you think mineral loss is a problem if doing a 20-25 minute ozone sauna everyday? I think it must present some issue, although I'm not sure to what extent. I currently supplement extra zinc and magnesium along with the standard minerals in my multi vit. Are there any minerals in particular that should be supplemented?

brian

Dear Brian,

Because you are sweating in the ozone sauna, some minerals are being carried out in the sweat.

In our clinic, we always give a person a glass of water after a sauna, with trace minerals added to it. We use Essential Elements, which is the new name for Concentrace minerals, mined from beds formed by the Great Salt Lake. It is a low sodium/high magnesium product.

Best of health!

Dear Rose,

No, Essential Elements comes as a liquid. Usually, they get 2 drops in a glass of water.

Some people like the water to be ozonated, and some don't, so we just use R/O water now.
