Subject: liver & kidney cleanse questions
just did a liver cleanse and was surprised to find, as predicted,
many stones released. i wonder how the liver even functions, with a
couple dozen stones a half-inch in diameter clogging things up. i am
grateful to dr. pressman and others for figuring these natural, self-
help protocols out. some questions:
1. during the cleanse, is it o.k. to drink juices to keep blood
sugar up? i'm hypoglycemic, and find any fasting difficult.
2. when should the subsequent coffee enemas be done? on the second
day of the cleanse, or later?
3. is there danger of releasing stones that get blocked, and then
require medical intervention/surgery? (i've read horror stories on
the web about gall bladders being removed, etc.)
kidney cleanse is next. questions:
1. the book doesn't specify a length of time. how many days does
the cleanse take?
2. do you follow a normal diet during those days, or change it?
again, thanks!
Dear shakerz,
Congratulations! You have taken an important step down the road
to better health.
1. Yes, you can drink some juice and all the water you want during
the cleanse. The thing to avoid the most is any type of fat, because
then the liver would be called into action to digest it.
2. Subsequent coffee enemas should be done in the week following the liver cleanse.
3. As long as the instructions are followed regarding the drinking of the
Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) there is no danger, as the biliary tubes are relaxed sufficiently to pass the largest stones.
Kidney cleanse:
1. You are sipping the tea over a period of a week.
2. No change in diet, except to avoid all soft drinks.
Best of health!
