Dear Ken,
Old people do not have weak bladders. They have low grade
bacterial infections.
In a nursing home in England, we were able to reduce the
incidence of incontinence from 60% to zero, over a period of three months,
with a program of drinking ozonated water twice per day.
The reason is that when the bacteria in the urinary tract are eliminated,
the sphincter muscle surrounding the exit from the
bladder is able to function properly again. Changing hundreds of diapers per
day was eliminated and the dignity and outlook of the residents was enhanced
with this simple measure.
Also, the incidence of colds and flu went down dramatically.
