My 85-year-old Mom burned her backbone with a heating pad. Am wondering
suggested protocol for burns. Used cupping yesterday and it LOOKED better
but she said it hurt a lot more for awhile after treatment. It's about
quarter size, no blisters, yellowish crust surrounded by 1/8 red and a dark
spot in the exact center. No sign of infection.

Dear Lyndell,
The question is perfectly appropriate.
Normally for burns we would use ozonated olive oil and keep applying every
three hours.
However, cupping should produce good results as well. I would say to
continue the cupping. Her discomfort should pass quickly. Make sure to wet
the area with a warm, wet washcloth first.
