Dear Wong,

There are many mechanisms in the body that control blood pressure, because it is such a vital function.

One of these mechanisms is the production of angiotensin in the blood plasma. Angiotensin causes the blood vessels to narrow, raising the blood pressure. It is like constricting the output of a hose with your finger, to make the water shoot farther.

The production of angiotensin is regulated by the amount of renin produced by the kidneys. More renin = more angiotensin = higher blood pressure. Angiotensin also causes the kidneys to retain more salt and water, which further elevates blood pressure. This feedback system can spiral upward into a heart attack.

The solution is to take flax oil, or fish oils, both suppliers of linolenic acid, an Omega 3 EFA (essential fatty acid). With a good supply of the Omega 3 EFA, the kidneys reduce their output of renin. Less renin = less angiotensin = lower blood pressure.

Simple, cheap, effective. Now you know why it is not widely promoted!

Dear calvin,

It is better to take flax based on the body's response.
Take one per meal, three times per day. (Total three)
Then try 2 per meal three times per day.(Total six)
Then try 3 per meal, three times per day. (Total nine)
Monitor your bowel movements, and note at which level they most normally occur (not too loose and not too hard). That is the level for you to stay at.

Dear Keith,

We have had good success using ozone therapy for high blood pressure. Have you tried Homozon? It will supply both oxygen and magnesium.

Are there any contra-indications for taking ozone with someone with high blood pressure?. My father has found out he has high blood pressure.....especially a high diastolic reading.....and i was wondering if ozone would be good for him......and if so what doses?

Thanks,
David

Dear David,

Ozone is not contraindicated for high blood pressure. In fact, it will reverse it.

Start with ozonated water (2 glasses daily) and ear insufflation (5 minutes per ear daily). After a few weeks, increase to 4 glasses daily and 10 minutes per ear daily.

Hold at that level and see what his detox is like. Then adjust up (to 6 glasses and 15 minutes per ear) or down (back to 2 glasses and 5 minutes) depending on how he is doing.

Flax oil daily will also help a great deal. And CoQ10 and magnesium...

No aspirin or steroids while doing ozone...

Best of Health!
