Hello everyone,
Occasionally people ask us how young a person can be before getting into the sauna. We have
never recommended that young children go into the sauna, just because we have limited experience
with this. But that has changed.
Lately, our daughter, Hannah (2 years, 4 months old) has been expressing an interest in saunas
on Sunday mornings when Saul and I have been having ours.
So recently after we got out, I put the seat up to the highest rung, and a white Rubbermaid
plastic stool onto that, put a towel on the stool and sat
her on it. I closed the doors and placed a towel around her neck. I left the heat at 103 and set
it only for 10 minutes.
Then, I turned on the ozone and she said "Hannah wawa mommy" (asking for a drink), "Hannah fan
mommy" (asking for the fan to be turned on) and "Hannah dance" (asking for the music to be on).
You can see she helps me daily with
my clients. She loved sitting in the sauna and chatted away with me while in it. When it was
time to get out, she then wanted a shower (as the clients have).
Earlier this week, she had had a couple days of constipation, and so when she came out of the
sauna, there were small black marks on the towels. Just proof, that it is never too early to
start ozone saunas for cleansing.
I just thought you might like to hear this...

saul or sherri lee:
i noticed you mentioned your daughter will sit in the sauna for 25
minutes! wow, that is so wonderful.
i am wondering if i can utilize ozone as i would for his dad or i,
for my 3.5 yr old son when he gets a cold or whatever... ie.
ozonated water, ears, funnelling or breathing ozone.
he will do peroxide in his ears and will hang on to the zapper but i
wasn't sure about flow rates and time if using ozone....
thanks
warmly
wendy
Dear Wendy,
You can do all the same protocols, just reduce the time and
amount. Approximately half of what an adult will do will be
plenty for him.
