Dear Patty,
Shingles is an outbreak of herpes zoster, which can be very painful. L-lysine is good to suppress it, and ozonated olive oil helps when applied to the skin.
Since the herpes attacks along a nerve branch, there can be some residual neuropathy, so taking large amounts of all the B vitamins will help as well. Blackstrap molasses made into tea is a good source of most Bs, and brewer's yeast is an even better source. Sublingual supplements are available now as well.
Other Vitamins like Vitamin C will also help, and Co-Q10, too.
Best of Health!
