Ozone and Pregnancy

Dear Jacqui,
Ozone and H2O2 will not adversely affect your getting pregnant. In fact, it
should enhance your chances.
The concern that was voiced years back about ozone for pregnant women refers
to vaginal insufflation, which can induce some spotting occasionally. When a
woman is pregnant and she spots, this is cause for concern, and inquiry as
to the cause.
However, a woman can do ozone by cupping with a funnel on her belly, and the
ozone will permeate through the skin, and safely oxygenate the fetus. Since
cerebral palsy is largely due to insufficient oxygen supply to the fetus,
virtually every woman should be doing this during her pregnancy, in the same
way that every pregnant woman should take the B vitamin folic acid to
prevent spinal malformation.

I'm in the 4th month of my pregnancy and my doctor told me that I
currently have 1 million copies/ml of HCV. I underwent
Interferon+Ribavirin treatment a year and a half ago and my virus
count went down from 200,000 to 64,000 copies/ml. I've been told that
the chances of vertical transmission increase with virus counts over
1 million so I'm considering Ozone therapies to reduce those chances.
Would you recomend it for me at this moment? If so what should I do?
Thanks in advance,
Beatriz

Dear Beatriz,
You could certainly do:
1. rectal insufflation
2. funneling over your liver
3. drinking ozonated water
You could also funnel over your abdomen and give
the little one some oxygen to grow on.

Dear Beatriz,
I wouldn't do a liver cleanse while you are pregnant.
That should wait.
I manufacture ozone generators. Our Model 1040 will
suit the job.

Subject: Rectal Ozone use during pregnancy---
HI
I've had CFIDS since 1987, and been dealing with a bad intestinal
infection (CLostridium Dificile "CDIF"), since early 2002. I
did all the traditional treatments and a lot of alternatives when those failed,
and found that the best thing for it has been rectal ozone (only done about
twice a month now) and also oregano oils. I started the ozone last October
and have been gradually recovering and have been off of antibiotics since
then (which were not curing it anyways but starting to cause me some bad side
effects).
Recently we got a surprise when we found out I am pregnant. Does anyone
have info on the validity of doing rectal Ozone treatments occasionally in
pregnancy for management of bad intestinal infection to keep it from getting
worse and to continue in recovery? We don't know what else to do at this
point since I have tried everything else and this is the thing that GOD has
used that has helped the most (been BIG! Answer to prayer). The thing that is
causing me to gradually heal from this bad intestinal infection (CDIF can be
life threatening in some cases) has been the oregano and the ozone. I am
usually symptom free for about two weeks or so, then I feel a little
bit of a flare up and do a treatment and am okay again for a couple weeks or so.
(Originally I had to do it daily to stay symptom free but have been able to
wean off as the infection has died down gradually). CDIF is a spore illness so
you have to keep after it till it's gone. Some people do that by staying on
antibiotics for it for months or years!
And yes I take a ton of all the best acidophilus, etc!
Thanks for any helpful info!!! My doctor was concerned about using ozone
while pregnant...but we don't see many other options since that is the main
thing besides oregano herb that has worked really great so far...
:) Blessings, Melisa.
Dear Melissa,
There is no danger in doing rectal insufflation while you are pregnant. In fact, it is
recommended. If you send me your doctor's name and address, I
will send a complimentary copy of my book, The Story of Ozone.
If more women would do ozone throughout their pregnancy, we would have a
LOT fewer 'genetic' deformities, such as cerebral palsy.
And once every two weeks is way too little ozone. Do it daily.
Continue with the acidophilus.
I am not sure about the oregano during pregnancy. Check with a herbalist.

Subject: Re: Ozone sauna in pregnancy
Are ozone saunas safe for pregnancy for any length of time?
For example can it be done for a relatively short period?
MElisa.
Dear MElisa,
There is controversy regarding saunas for pregnant women.
In Finland they say there is no problem and they have been
doing it for centuries.
In the US, however, the opinion is that raising core temperature
too high could potentially damage the fetus.
Since the jury is still out, we err on the side of caution.
Therefore, we recommend that pregnant women do not take saunas.
Ozone itself is NOT contraindicated by pregnancy. In fact, we
strongly urge pregnant women to do ozone and reduce the chances
of having children with problems like cerebral palsy.
The protocol that is best suited is funneling on the abdomen,
as well as drinking ozonated water. Information suggests that
morning sickness is attributable to h. pylori, the bacteria that
causes ulcers, so drinking ozonated water would eliminate that
problem as well.
We do not advise vaginal insufflation during pregnancy, because
of the slight possibility of causing spotting, which may be viewed
with alarm, and trigger a reponse from an allopath that could
cause problems.
Therefore, we advise this protocol be avoided for the duration of
the term, and ozone funneling and ozonated drinking water take its
place.
Rectal insufflation would also be acceptable, provided that the
problem associated with it (preparatory enema) is acceptable.

The LLL doesn't recommend any kind of cleansing at all while nursing.
I wouldn't doubt the lemon juice would upset the flavour of
the breast milk and possibly the babies tummy, but some of the released toxins would also end up in the milk I would think.
Personally, as someone who has been nursing for 4 years and am now pregnant,
I wouldn't do any serious cleansing or detox while pregnant or nursing.

Subject: Re: pregnancy, morning sickness & using ozone
Hi Wendy,
Congrats on your pregnancy. I too am pregnant and am about to hit 17 weeks
this sunday. My experience is just like yours... so welcome to my world:)
With Hannah I was not sick much at all... and it was short lived. With this
one, I have been so sick it is unbelievable. I have stopped short of
vomiting, but dry heaving when I brush my teeth or try to take a pill is not
fun. I was also exhausted until about a week ago and I believe more regular
chiropractic helped in that department. I am not seeing a homeopath or a
naturopath. I did find that concentrace really helped with the nausea with
the first time, but had a hard time getting it down this time. It seems to
be the magnesium that makes a difference.
I have heard it said that the more sick you are the less likely you are to
have a miscarriage if that helps at all:) I tried to remember that when I
felt like s*** but it didn't always help.
As for ozone, you can funnel for 20-30 minutes over an area at a time. It is
great on the belly as the baby gets a great shot of oxygen and tends to be
more active afterwards. You can do the ears for 5 minutes each, each day. As
for drinking water 4 glasses a day would be good, and great for the baby
too. I don't think any of this would bring on a strong healing reaction with
all the ozone you have done in the past.
A couple of spots on your tummy doesn't really mean anything either,
remember our hormones go wonky and we tend to break out more during
pregnancy anyway.
Good luck in your pregnancy and enjoy, this icky time will be over soon and
the fun will come,
Sherri-Lee

Subject: pregnant women and homozon?
Can pregnant women take homozon?
If a woman has been chronically constipated for years,
what can she take for this problem while she is pregnant?
Psyllium husks and milled flax seed haven't worked consistently
for her. She's tried various herbal laxitaves, and they've
only worked for a while, then they stopped working for her.
What are your views on colonic irrigation?
Can this safely be done while a woman is pregnant,
and will this help get the fecal material out?
Can pregnant women safely drink ozonated water?
Dear Fred,
Homozon, enemas, colonics and ozonated water are all ok for pregnant women.
She needs to have a liver cleanse or three, but that will have to
wait until after she is done nursing.
