Hi Candy,

You are not alone my itchy friend! A few things which help me:

1. Dead Sea Salt baths- unscented, organic, straight from the Dead Sea in Israel. Warm, not hot water (this is crucial - the rash is very hot by nature and should be cooled, not heated more). 20- 40 mins. Aaaah. Very soothing. For a little bit, you can't even feel it anymore (well almost).

2. Ice cubes. I'm not kidding - just do it, you'll feel better. It takes some of the heat out for a short while. OR a cool compress - a little less intense than the ice...or both, ice in cloth.

3. I also found l. acidophilus suppositories that you keep refridgerated. Oh my, very relieving. Brand name is CandiClear.

4. Let your body rest and heal. Take a short break every now and then to build up your stamina and strength to continue. Do this until you have a day or two that are truly bearable and then insufflate again.

5. Protease does help.

6. BREATHE. nice long meditative breathing. try to find some peace with the pain.

Hang in there Candy. Trust what your body tells you. Know that you are not alone in this experience. It actually does get better and yes, it will make you stronger in many ways.

Blessings ~
katie

P.S. Saul, would a liver cleanse help this process along?

Dear Katie,

Yes the liver cleanse will help, and charcoal slurry as well.
