How Can Ozone Practitioners Protect Themselves Against Prosecution?

Dear Fred,
The College of Physisicans and Surgeons has been very
powerful in Ontario in the past. They are losing their
power now, and their persecutions of physicians who use
treatments they don't like have ceased.
Clinics without physicians have mostly been harassed by
the CBC's Marketplace and Ross Rutherford, such as the
Wolfe Clinic, driven out of business in Toronto in 1994.
There are some naturopaths doing ozone therapy, notably
Dr. Prytula in Niagara Falls, and Dr. Ravi Devgan (who
came to our World Symposium on Ozone in Toronto in September
1994).
There are a number of ozone sauna clinics, mostly outside of
Toronto (like London), but the majority are deep underground,
as you say.
The Health Protection Branch of Health Canada would be the
ones who would prosecute, but since their loss in BC against
Mr. Strauss, who claims his herbal drops cure heart disease,
they have been quiet. HPB lost because they charged Strauss
with practicing medicine without a licence, and since they do
not licence doctors, it is therefore out of their jurisdiction.
Protection for any holistic therapist who desires it is available through
the protection of the Council on Religious Counseling and Healing of the
Romano Byzantine Synod, an arm
of the Eastern Orthodox Church, which has 300,000,000 congregants worldwide.
Applicants can take our correspondence course for
the Ozone Hyperthermic Technician, write the test and receive a certificate,
and apply to the RBS to become a Licensed Theocentric Ozone Hyperthermic
Technician. After that time, if the authorities were to harass the
practitoner, RBS would go to bat for him/her in court if need be. They have
done this for over 40 years, and they
have an unblemished track record. They are also good people.
Like any professional organization, they have an entrance fee,
yearly dues, degree programs, etc. For more information, go to
their website at
http://CRCH.RBSOCC.ORG
They also now offer an insurance program for practitioners who are
having difficulty finding a company to carry them.
Best of Health!
