Subject: BATHTUB OZONATION
Is there any possible benefit from sitting in a bath tub full
of water with ozone being pumped into it?
I have heard of using this procedure with hydrogen peroxide,
so absorption must take place transdermally, and I was just
wondering if we had any research or strong data indicating
the efficacy of such a procedure with ozone?
Best to all,
Robert
Dear Robert,
If you lie down in the tub and put the end of the
silicone tubing into the water under your back, ozone
will bubble up into the hollow along the spine, and
be trapped there. It will enter in through the skin at
this point, just as if you were doing funneling.
There is no scientific research on this. It was a technique
developed by Adam in Toronto in 1993.
Best of health!

What about the ozone escaping the water. Can that be harmful to
breath in, or does it all get absorbed into the water or converted
to oxygen?
Dear Ed,
The point of the protocol I outlined was to prevent the ozone from
escaping.
Hot water will not hold ozone nor oxygen, so you have to use the
method I posted in order to trap it.
Breathing escaped ozone will not hurt you, but it will probably
irritate your nose and may make you cough.
None of the ozone will stay in the water at 80 degrees F
and above. Only a little will be converted back to oxygen by the heat
before it is absorbed into your back.
