Ozone Therapy Protocol for Various Lung Pathologies

Dear Dr.,

Since lung tissue is so thin due to the need for gas exchange, and has few antioxidant enzymes to protect itself with, raw ozone should not be introduced into the lungs over an extended period.
When ozone passes through olive oil it is converted into an ozonide, C10H18O3, whose oxidative power is much reduced. This ozonide is very beneficial, in that it has sufficient strength to destroy bacteria and viruses.

The implications of this are that asthma due to bacterial infection, sinusitis, and some pneumonias can be eradicated by breathing ozone bubbled through olive oil for 10 - 30 minutes every other day.

Another technique, useful for persistent viral pneumonia, emphysema and for lung cancer, is to wet the skin on the chest, and then place a funnel on the chest, connected to the output of the ozone generator. The funnel will confine the ozone, and prevent it from escaping into the air. The flow rate is set at 1/32 liters/minute, and as the funnel is held in place for 20 minutes, the ozone gas will diffuse transdermally. Since the ozone is at full strength, it has more oxidative power, and can better deal with serious problems, without overloading the lung tissue.
