Brad,
I have used Ozone for the last 18 months and have been very impressed with it.
For preventative sealants in molars it works very well.
We normally gently air abrade the fissure before ozonating and then
place Fuji VII. At recall , you can abrade the fuji out for new
diagnodent readings but unless the original readings were 30+ we
don't usually do this.
As far as seeing a reduction in diagnodent readings is concerned then
this does happen but some early lesions stay the same colour and the
reduction is minimal. Clinical examination however, confirms remineralization.
I have to say that I feel a lot happier placing sealants on teeth
which have been ozoned first.
To cut the bull , the system works well in most cases and in the area
you are particularly interested in it works exceptionally well.
